I meant like the shells. Do u just let them pile up? Or do they pretty much eat the whole thing?

He eats the shells on the krill and shrimp. The crab shells he spits out in small pieces so I leave them. The clams I let him gnaw on the shells for a day to wear his beak down then I toss them.

I'm going with 200 lbs of base and 10 lbs live for my 180. I would guess it depends on how much of a cycle kick start you want to give it.
