new tank with white algea

I just started a new salt water aquarium and theres white algea growing on the glass...has anyone seen or heard of white algea...

thats not algae thats just dust from your sand. I put really find sand in my tank and it did the same thing. As your tank gets bacteria on it it will stop doing this. takes about a month or two

Cool thats what i thought ... It was either that or too much light...yea i have the fine sand too...thanks
