I've been doing freshwater planted tanks for a little while now, and I'm very interested in adventuring out into the saltwater world.. I've been doing tonnes of research these past few weeks and I'm thinking of building a reef tank that will sit on my computer desk.
The equipment that I know I'll need first for the Fluval Spec V is as follows:
-Finnex 16-Inch FugeRay Marine Plus Aquarium LED Light
-Hydor Koralia Nano 240 Aquarium Circulation Pump
-Chemi-Pure Elite
-Purigen
-Marineland Mini Jet pump (To Replace Stock Pump)
-5.6 Gallons RO/DI water purchased
-Live Rock
-Live Sand
I understand I'll have to keep up with weekly water changes to maintain proper parameters in a small tank, so that wont be an issue. Is there anything else I'm missing to get started?
