Hey guys I'm new to all this I have had my tank up and running for a month now after a few weeks I had 2 clown fish as I was told these would assist the tank on its cycle, unfortunately they died yesterday after a large no2 spike!! Now I'm worried how do I go about lowering the no2 without chemicals I want more fish but I don't want to kill them, any advice would be greatly appreciated

If I do a 30% water change with ro water I'm guessing I'll have to add salt again won't I?!?

You will want to premix the salt in a bucket (etc.) only used for aquariums. It is best to let it age for about a week, but it can be used immediately in an emergency. You can take out however much water you want, then add your premixed saltwater. :)

Can't I just take water directly from the sea? Isn't that already perfect?

sea water will be ok as long as you go out from the coast,as for making your own 24hours mixing is enough time just match salinity and temp.
