NITRITE.......

hey everyone...... newbie question..... have had my tank cycling with 1 1/2 live sand and 50lbs of live rock in a 150 gal tank... it's been cycling for 3 weeks and the first week the ammonia spiked and then nitrites started... the ammonia died off 1 1/2 weeks ago and the nitrites have been spiking since...

about how long till they start to die off..... i know i need patients with the cycle .... but i'm getting ansi

TIA really appreciate everyone's advice...
Leo

Mine took just about 4 weeks. After the nitrate went down i ran the aquarium for about 4 or 5 more days to make sure. Good luck
