Ill start my build in the fowlr section then, I won't be going reef for at least 8mo

I went reef right off the bat with some hardy mushrooms and I had no problems. Just keep your water parms up

Mushrooms, Zoanthids, Palythoas, Pulsing Xenia, Leathers, and Kenya tree are all great beginner corals that are hard to kill.

I would avoid the ricordea mushrooms though.

Radioactive dragon eye zoanthids and a purple mushroom myself.
