Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I seriously started upgrading my tank about a month ago..
Originally I had this on my 46g bow front:
Wet Dry w/ U shaped overflow using MagDrive 6
Protein Skimmer
1 900gph Eheim powerhead in the tank
Emperor Penguin Hang on the Back filter
Crappy lighting
Now I have:
Wet Dry w/ 90s version CPR overflow using MagDrive 7
Protein Skimmer
UV Sterilizer
3 MaxiJet 600's on a Wavemaker Pro
Current USA Dual Sattelite 36inch Compact Florescent
Overall the water quality is much better and the lighting is a 4 fold increase, the fan on the light is a little loud but overall it seems to be shaping up nicely. I will post some pictures when I get my digital camera back from the wife...
What else do I need? I think it seems set for a while and I can concentrate on corals/animals. I have some stuff in the tank, but it is still light on coral's and fish.
