Oooops..... Impulse buy...

Ok guys of course I listened to the guy at the LFS and might have gotten taken. I picked up a Clown Tang today and what I'm reading on the internet doesn't look very promising. Anybody have any advice or good news about these fish???

TIA

according to your profile, you have a 60 gallon...that is too small for that particular fish. I would see if you can take it back. You may want to take a printout or two from the net that points out a recommended minimum tank size which is 150 gallons. That may or may not help as most fish stores feel you are responsible for research, they just sell the fish.

I agree that your tank is too small for that fish. Your LFS should have known this if he knew what size tank you had.

He's pretty small right now. I think I'll let him grow a bit and then trade him in. Should be able to get some great credit for him at that point. Only paid $25.
