and the southdown is not staying down how long till i can expect this to stop getting kicked all over the place by the spray bar? every am rock and corals are coated in white dust.

Probably at least another week Once a bacterial film coats the sand, it will give it weight, it will still kick up easy, but will settle out quickly as well

I would shut the spray bar off until it gets settled, at least for a day or so

i can not shut the spray bar off hara it is plumbed so the return pump comes right back through there. i take it that was another bad idea to add to the rest thanks guys was worried that it may never settle
