Hi Guys.

I'm having a 90 G tank built, and was wondering what you thought of the size of the drain and return holes. I'm thinking of going 2 inch for drain and 1.5 inch for return. All this will be in a center overflow.

Thanks in advance for the help.

2" is fine, but bigger than necessary. You can easily get away using a 1.5" drain line. You want aprox 5x-10x your water volume flowing thru your sump. A 1.5" drain will give you about 600 gph...depending, of course, on the size of your return pump.

Thanks for that. What kinda of return pump would you suggest for this setup?
