Overflow noise?

Is there any way I can reduce the overflow noise. This is my first tank. Return pump in the sump is a Mag Drive seven.

Thanks

well, could be just echoing which makes it seem louder. There is a slight echo in that part of the house.

what type of over flow? I stuck airline hose down mine and leave out a few inches to help air pass.

If it's a HOB overflow, if your not already using a lid or cover for the top I recommend you add one. It helps a lot. If it's making a gurgling sound, something like a toilet flushing, using some airline as Seaham358 described cures this. HTH
