Thumbs up on Salttanker's book suggestion. The book by Fenner is a great starting place. Also, I've had the stressful experience of moving an established 55 gallon tank from one residence to another. Can be done, but you'll need to get creative with trash cans and have plenty of lifting help hehe. Hopefully you won't be moving it too far. With SW, bigger generally equates to better, but with your portability requirement that makes things tough. I don't think I would want to try moving anything bigger than a 55, especially knowing that I had to move it again in a couple of months.

i've moved a 45 gallon FOWLR a few times. And it was not fun. I only moved it across town but it' still an enormous task. It took us all afternoon. But it can be done if you are up to the challenge.

It`s going to be a pretty big task to break it down and transport long distance . You might even lose some fish and inverts on the move. I dont know if it`s worth the numerous set-ups.
