Pavestone play sand?

Me and a buddy just purchased a bag of this sand. We did some research online and found a few people using this sand. We were going to ask around before we decide to use it or not.

This is all my local HD's carry. Can we use this?

What brand is it? It is probably silica based which is OK but will limit your cleanup crew.

What kind of cleanup crew is ok with silica based sand? Are blue leg hermits and turbo snails ok?

be careful with any that sift sand. The silicate based sand have a bit more jaggedness(is that a word?) to the sand particles.

I wouldn't use it... I recommend Argonite based sand...

Think this would be ok for a freshwater tank? I was told if it was aragonite sand it would bubble when vinegar is added. It didn't bubble. I may try it in my freshwater tank and see what happens.
