How ever full the compartment is with the bio-balls fill it with that much LR rubble

Yes it is. Just a live rock that was broken up into rubble. I think you have a JBJ Nano Cube or a Bio Cube right? Take a visit to this webpage as it is a reader for anyone with a cube.
