My Ph has been hovering at 7.9-8.0 i want to keep it at 8.2. I have been removing and adding a gallon of saltwater every other day. I also have live rock, sand, 1 eel and cleaner snails and crab. what should i do to raise it up.

Baking soda will raise it slowly. I forgot what the formula was, but it's on this site somewhere.

Also, some LFS sell a buffer that will raise it to 8.3, even if you over dose.

I have a slow PH dropping issue as well in one of my tanks. It's because of my tap water, I'm not using RO/DI water. Are you using RO/DI? What kind of substrate do you have?

what is your alkalinity?
what is yoru calcium?

What is the tank size, and what are you using to create water current? Do the power heads disturb the water surface, making lots of ripples?

my calcium is a little high i put to much reef additive in last week i don't have an alkalinity test

Need some info-What size tank? How much total flow (gph)? I'm assuming the top is covered b/c of the eel-if so what are you using? Do you have good surface aggitation?
