Phosban Reactir questions

Just picked up the Two little Fishies phosban Reactor. My question what is the different between the bio pellets or bio plastics and the GFO? What should I use my take is about 1 1/2 months old and I do have two fish and CUC. Also what product is good? Thanks

Bio pellets are for reducing nitrates gfo is for phosphates
