So I think I'm understanding things a little better but was wondering this question, I haven't seen much coral growth in the 6 months I've had my tank, everything comes out but nothing really grows or spreads,I'm pretty sure my phosphates are the cause since I realized they are about 2.0ppm, I've started fixing this but in the meantime was wondering could this be the reason I'm not losing much calcium/alk I'm guessing that since the phosphates are so high it is stunting my corals growth and they are not growing therefore not using calcium is this a good assumption?
