Phosphates

I just tested for phosphates using the Hannah low range phosphate checker readings were 0.00ppm. I have heard that it's good to have 0.01 or 0.02 readings. Is it bad that I have 0.00?

I'd want to test it again to be safe. But yes, you do want some phosphates and aim to be in the .03-.05 range.

how new is your tank , I wouldn't go crazy trying to raise phosphates as they will raise over time anyhow ,

I would recheck the tank , 2 yrs you should be getting a reading of some kind ,
