Plate coral swelling

I have a plate coral that was unusually big today. Have had it for about 6 months with no problem at all. Feed it a shrimp about every ten days. I know they swell and shrink but today it was really bigger than normal. What is it doing? Color looks great.

Mine does this as well at times. It could be just because, but they also inflate to move around.
