Is it necesary to put snails crabs and sertant shrimp. if so how many and which ones

necessary.

No.

snails will help clean your glass of algae, crabs will do the same for your rock. they will also help on any uneaten food. serpant stars can be used as sand sifters and some just plan like the looks of them.

yes, but only reefsafe starfish as some are known to be non reefsafe.
