Please give me info on a QT tank`

I have a 10 gallon tank that was FW that I just cleaned out. Can I use it for a QT tank and how important is this tank for introducing new fish into my tank. How do I do it? Please tell me what the benefits are and if I really need one.

Good article, the only thing I would add is go with the larger 20g tank if possible. Considering you want larger fish (tangs/regal angle). Larger fish will be less stressed in the 20g QT.

I want to get this QT up though, the one I have..and it may be a bit bigger than 10 gallons..to put in my torn up clownfish. Darn trigger..glad I returned him today!
