What does everyone use for pluming their tanks? I was using the clear plastic tube you can cut to the length you want form Home Depot or Lowes bu, it's not flexible enough so I need to get something else.

following, I think people use "Spa hose" that is used in plumbing pools and hot tubs but, I used stright PVC

I've used flex tubing and PVC. I def like PVC better, it is much easier than people make it out to be.

I really wanted to use PVC but I only have limited space under my stand

You hardly need any space for PVC, 1 or 2 drains and a return. It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. check out my 75g reef build thread to see my plumbing. super simple
