I have a Maxi-jet in my new salt water aquar. Should i use the Aeration feater on the head or not? Thanks

I wouldn't, it will do little to actually aerate the water and will create splash (which leads to lots of salt creep) and bother the fish.

what exactly is salt creep? Is that dried salt that can accumulate on pipes and stuff?
