powerhead advice needed

I have recently upgraded my aquarium. I now have a 36 gal tank and i am looking at buying powerheads im doing research but getting confused.

How many power heads should i have?

How powerful should they be?

I have a sicce voyager 3 in my tank. It's rated at 1200 gph. I have the front adjustment almost closed and my tank is happy and healthy. It's priced good and it's quiet. My tank is a 29g

Yes i do plan on having corals. Not sure what kind exactly but as much variety as possible.

I spoke to my lfs today and they advised me to have 2 smaller powerheads to create a better flow.

What gph shoild i be looking at?

I would stick to 2 500GPH - Two is better then one, and that will give you around 30x flow. It should be sufficient for your needs and to help keep your tank clean.
