Powerhead for 40-gallon FOWLER

Good morning - would one Koralia 3 power head rated at 850-gph provide desirable water circulation in a 40-gallon FOWLER aquarium? Or is that overkill and would I be best to go with two smaller power heads?

It wouldn't be overkill at all but you would probably be better off getting 2 smaller ones to create a more random flow pattern.

I agree, go with 2 PH's crossed towards the surface in an "x" shape for some random currents and surface aggitation.
