Problems with nitrates and phosphates

I've brought the nitrates down a lot and I've even had them at 0 during a couple tests. If I decide to stir up the sand should I remove my live rock also.

Well if you've had them at 0, then you are already winning. Keep feedings down and up with the water changes. Twice a week is as much as a tank needs fed IMO.

Ok so if I cut my feeding down to every other day it's going to help a lo

I took out all the live rock about 2 weeks ago and cleaned almost all of the algae off of it. None if it has started growing back.

You could use more rock also. Twice that amount maybe. It would also help with lowering nitrates.

Yea I was thinking about putting 30 more pounds. It would take me up to around 80 pounds
