propagating my hairy brown corallimorph

I have a lovely hairy brown corallimorph that is growing beautifully in my old tank; I am wanting to keep most of them in this tank. However, I would like to have a few in the new tank.

Could anyone suggest how I should remove the corallimorph safely, I would like to then cut them into quarters to propagate them.

I would suggest cutting them in half rather then quartering them. What you want to do is cut them in half right through the mouth and then let them sit somewhere in your system that is lower flow but enough to wash over the coral. They should heal pretty quickly. If they are splitting on their own I would just chip the rock away below them and glue them down to another rock to start another colony.
