I picked up a used classic on the advice of this board. I got it with a mag5 pump for about what a seaclone would have cost.

I have not fired it up yet though. Still cycling

Is there a reason your waiting for the cycle to finish before starting the skimmer? I would just set it up and get it running.

I thought you were supposed to wait till the tank cycled to start it up. Maybe it does not do much until then?
