Protein skimmer

Looking for a good protein skimmer to go in a sump.
Dont want to spend a bundle of dough.
Tried the Sea Clone 150 but the spill way was to high above the water.
This caused a lot of splashing and noise.

Check this out...might be what you're looking for...probably the Urchin Pro.

Or, if you don't like that one, check out a Berlin Classic or Classic XL.

Also check ebay or local papers. I found a Berlin Classic with a mag pump for a lot less than the LFS is selling just the skimmer.

Any feed back on the aqua clear 150.
It seems well suited for the sump, and priced well.

I have an Aquaclear running on one of my tanks(20 gal)...not sure what model it is though. You will not get the performance from one of these that you'll get from an Urchin Pro or a Berlin. My thoughts are that it wouldn't really be enough for a 90 gal tank. JMHO.
