I have renectly just added a purple lobster.

This morning when I got home from work, my diamond goby is nonexistant. I have even looked under every piece of rock in my tank. My LFS told me they would not harm other fish. However, will lobsters eat other fish? I have also checked around the tank to make sure he did not jump out.
Any information would be much appriciated.
