Question

Recently my 55 gal reef tank has been going crazy with life.
Snails have been poping out everywhere, and there tiny.
Do the snails grow their own shell?
Also a hole bunch of little mites crawl everywhere.
The other day I saw a centipeed looking thing crawl out of a hole in the live rock.
My main question is the mites, there everywhere. Should I be woried about them?

Hi!
Yes snails do grow their own shells. The centipede like thing is a bristleworm, generaly not harmful. The "mites" may be amphipods: you can read about them here Those Little White Bugs In Your Saltwater Aquarium Profiled - Classification Information and Facts About Copepods and Amphipods
I would say you have nothing to worry about. But im sure the experts can help more.
