Question about doing water changes?

Ok I have my 10g SW tank. The tank is in my room and the fan is on constant high all day to keep things cool. Thing is I loose about 1/2 gallon of water everyday. So In essence im doing a 50% water change a week. Do I still need to do another big water change every week? It seems like my water evaporates so quick that it takes care of itself. All the test show fine.

I know on bigger tanks its a must cuase of the large volume but I wasnt sure about a 10.

water evaporation removes water only, none of the disolved organics and inorganics. I would still change water.

Right do a water change to remove organics and add certain chems in your tank like Calcium

Sounds like a good job for a IV bag. Just fill it in up and set the drip rate low and your SG will be steady. 1/2 gallon a day in a 10gal minus rock/sand etc will cause problems for your inhabitants. That is a big SG change.

OK cool its no biggie to me to do the water changes, just lazy and didnt want to do more than I had too
