question about how much live rock

im getting ready to buy my LR for the new 46 gallon tall. they say 1.5-2 lbs per gallon does that include my sump as well so with a 46 display tank and a 20 gallon sump do i need a 125 pounds of lr?

It would include the sump,but consider the rock water displacement in your DT for the rock and sand and in the sump for your filter and protein skimmer etc.Plus your sump won't be filled to the top to allow for power outage.
I would get 100 lbs. of base rock and maybe ten lbs. of live.It will be a lot cheaper for you and the live rock will seed the base very quickly.That will put you at least at two lbs. Per gallon,probably more.
