Question for you reef keepers
I've recently acquired a 55g reef set up. The tank was up and running with fish less then a month ago. However, it's been full of water but not running for 3 weeks so most of the bb has died.
My question to y'all is this. My buddy is down sizing his 125 reef to a 75 FOWLR. Is it possible to take 50 gallons of his water, his live rock, corals and fish and simply put them in my tank? He has pretty much the same lighting and filter set up I have. If I cleaned my filter, skimmer, tank and sand, would this work?
