questions about starting 55g FOWLR..

I want to set up a 55g FOWLR but dont even know where to begin. There are so many options! Any recommendations on tanks, filters types, etc. Would be a huge help! And is a 55g going to be too loud for a bedroom? Thanks!

That's a pretty open ended question.

Ideally you want a drilled reef ready tank. If not, you need to decide on alot more things and go from there. Decide what you want for a skimmer, overflow, whether you want a sump, then return pumps, lights, heaters.

Did you read the sticky under this sub-forum? I think that is a good start. you can just start with google. Then when you have another question, then try google again. It takes several weeks to research and plan out your setup. Post when you have gathered your idea, so we have a better understanding of the setup you're trying to accomplish.
