Well the feather duster must be stressed by it's new environment as it has already shed it's crown. Should I remove the crown from the aquarium? I'm hoping the duster acclimates and grows a new crown which I understand it can do in as short as a few weeks.

Well the crown got sucked into my powerhead and was quickly shredded into tiny pieces.
