Does this stuff really work?

It helps sometimes, but will only speed up
the cycle. It won't instant cycle the tank. You still need to test and stuff.

U need an ammonia source or the bacteria will die

I used cured live rock and quick start and cycled in 6 days. That is 100 lbs of live rock though, so mostly live rock that did it.
