quick update! one question

as most of you know i started my cycle 8 days ago with 40 pounds keys lr.com rock. well, after 8 days my reading are
ammonia-0 after a spike for about 6 days
nitrite-1.0 been spiked now for 2 days
sg-1.024
temp 81

Now my question is would it be beneficial for me to turn my protien skimmer on now or should i just leave it off till cycle is completed?

I ran my skimmer throughout my cycling process and it didn't seem to make a difference.

I'd turn it on just so you can have some time to get it adjusted. Cycle wise, it doesn' matter.
