This upgrade has been salty and I do confess to spending $500 at the LFS on Sunday, but most of the coral came out of my 75 gallon that was already up.

I attached a few more coral pics. The last 2 aren't doing so well. The toadstool seems to be detaching from his rock, and the lobed brain is losing it's color. Those were both in the old tank before.

As requested the FTS and 3 part scan. Plus 1 of my sailfin tang that got moved from the 75 (yes now I know the 75 wasn't big enough, and he needs 6 ft of swim room).

Search youtube for pistol vs cleaner or pistol vs crab. They'll kill other inverts so they have food.

I did a test today for phosphate and it read 2.0 ppm. Any suggestions on how to get this number down?

you need to put it in a reactor. you can buy two little fishies reactors for pretty cheap

Phosban Reactor

you'll beed to buy a pump for it but a slow rate powerhead like maxijet400 should be fine for it

180 lbs of sand. About 200 lbs of live rock in DT and another 30 in the sump.

Got home from work last night to a diatom explosion so not so pretty right now, but most everything looking good.

I'm following your build, it seems to be going pretty well. I love the aquascaping. I am trying to use you and Greenmaster's builds as a guideline. I am starting a 250 gallon reef build next month.
