Aquarium Advice Newbie
Can anyone give me an estimate on a 30 gallon reef tank? I know it varies, but a few responses from people who have reef tanks and what they paid would be appreciated.

Reef i take it you mean corals.
Do you want an estimated price from nothing to FULL reef with rocks and corals and lights, etc?
If so then my guess would be between $750-$1000 and that would be if you had nothing and had to buy it all.
Thats the inial purchase. Then you have your ongoing costs like salt, and bulbs and electricty, etc.

I have a 20g SPS reef, MH + PC, powerheads, wavemaker, etc... I have about 1500-1600 in it right now, that is fully stocked though.
