Very new to marine and having just set up my tank with liverock and a couple of blue legged hermit crabs and a turbo snail I'm leaving the tank to do it's thang for a few months albeit water changes and maintenance. Not planning on corals or fish until it's better established. My question is I've got a hydrometer and recently picked up a refractometer it has a scale up to 28 with every 5 numbered 5 / 10 / 15 etc. Every ref to a refractometer is referring to a different scale. Help. Very confused.
