Refuge

Im currently building a 110g tank with a 30g refuge. Im new to this setup. My old 55g used a canister filter. My question is how long should I wait to add the micro algae to the fuge after tank set up.

Once you start feeding the tank, it is fine to add it.

Waiting a bit won't hurt tho. Algae will consume all forms of nitrogen including ammonia. Excellent once you start adding livestock but it may slow your cycle by lowering the ammonia and nitrite levels when you want them elevated.
I would add it as soon as you start to see nitrate during the cycle.
