I havew not heard anything bad about them, except most wish they were bigger

I have a HOB fuge on my 20g tank, and I will not plan another tank without a fuge

Hi Dewey,

Once you figure out the pros/cons of this type of fuge... If you decide to buy one.
Check eBay before you purchase. There is a guy (acryliccity) that sells these pretty cheap BUT more importantly - he fabricates acrylic products.

i also make custom hang on skimmers,in sump skimmers, refugiums, overflows, sumps, fish traps, coral plates, calcium reactor, just send me your specs and i will list the item with buy it now.
If you decide against it - no harm done.

ive read about those but i dont like the idea of siphoning from it. Ive read people that use an aquaclear 500 as a refugium or just a place to put the heater as opposed to the main tank.
I never thought you would, but always knew you could.

Justdiy has a great idea for a fuge at his site www.myaquaria.com )sorry, not sure how to attatch the site). I jsut used his idea and im almost ready to start mine up. It is exactle what I was looking for and very inexpensive, downright cheap.

I also was looking at eBay for a hang-on type but am glad I didn't purchase.

From what I hear any fuge is a good fuge. I have mine done just waiting on my tank to get back from the glass shop and plumbing. My fuge is a 20G long that I had lowes cut glass baffles to seprate the chambers. I still have to figure out plumbing just yet, but looks like it'll work out great.
