Looks awesome. I added a topper to my canopy when I added the halides. My first canopy was 5 1/2" off the water. I added a 1x10 to the top so my lights are now about 9" off the water. The bulbs will hang a bit.

My canopy was not so intricate though. There is a few places on ebay eith decent canopy prices. Might need another road trip

*180 gal Display, 100 gal basement sump, 33 gal refugium, 3x250 MH, 2x160 VHO actinics, zoos, some softies, LPS & lots of acros and other SPS.
*100 gal prop tank plumbed into main system w/ 2x96 PC lights and 1x150 MH,

Well for my 125 gal i made mine outta 2x2's and 1/4" plywood still not completed yet but almost there (just have to put the doors on) Mine has doors in the front so i can easily access the tank for feeding and cleaning. I made mine 12" high and went and bought 2 fans that costed $5 at walmart....the cheap ones that are all plastic throw the base away and take off the front of the protective fan cover and fasten it on and presto you have 2 different settings high and low and plenty of cooling for the halides. HTH
