Yea they host all kinds of things they hosted an elegance coral of mine and killed it
 
How can I raise my alkalinity??

Alk doesn't really matter so long as its not incredibly high or low. Worry more about keeping pH between 7.8-8.3, calc around 400 ppm, magnesium around 1200 ppm, ammo nitrite 0 and nitrates under 20.

I don't even look at alk when I measure with those all in one strips.
 
It looks like a dip stick... that's not a name people get called because they work well... I suggest you get a liquid test kit.

according to the strip it looks a little low.

it depends on the size of the fish when its adult etc what type of fish do you have now and what type do you want

I have 2 clowns 2 chromies one dotty back cardnail fish coral beauty 1cleaner shrimp 1 blood shrimp and two other fishes

I got my cardinal fish saturday he is not moving much stays in one spot.what does this fish eat?

I think most cardinal fishes dont swim very much. Mine stayed still most of the time and ate mostly mysis shrimp. Sadly it died of an unknown cause =(
 
What's this green stuff growing in sand and brown stuff on top of sand?

Just bought a jaw fish and is acting weird is this normal?? Laying on the floor
 
Okay I bought another jawfish and I put him in and haven't seen him since do these fish usually hide like this?

Help please!!! Ok I have two clown fish that been in my tank for 6 months I was thinking of buying a Australian black and white clown fish do you guys think try will get along?
 
I wouldnt add an extra set of clowns. I had a orange pair and b&w pair and after a few months all heck broke loose. I had to separate them or I would have lost one that day.
