Once I have began using purified water from my RO/DI system, do I need to continue using AquaSafe?

No the RO/DI water does not contain chlorine and does not need to be conditioned with a water conditioner.

I just bought a used 4 stage RO\DI with a 5 gallon bladder on eBay for $22.50. It only makes about a gallon an hour but that will be plenty enough for me.
