Are 2 DI filters necessary? Or is this unit: http://cgi.ebay.com/USA-110GPD-RO-DI...QQcmdZViewItem
just as good w/ 1 DI filter?

Btw, I am enjoying this site. It has a wealth of info. Looking forward to spending a lot more time here. Thanks in advance for the help and info.

i dont know if thers any benifit from haveing 2 but i can tell you thats a good unit i got the same one with out the tank

2 is not needed. As long as you have one. I`m sure 2 would be better but not needed

It all depends on your water quality. I used one Di for a year or so and I was going through resin fast and I would also get some PO4 getting past the DI. I run 2 now and I get 0 PO4 and the resin last longer, I rotate them. not needed put can be helpful if your water is bad..
