RO vs Distilled water

Is it ok to use Distilled water for my 55g saltwater tank? We have an RO system but it's not hooked up.

Yes, you can use distilled water.

No tap. Just be careful with distilled and be sure you test it for atleast phosphate. Despite being distilled water it is not clean. Ive tested many brands of distilled, most contain phosphate and between 25-100 TDS.

Just dont use anything that has a positive test for phosphates.

Your better off hooking up your RO. Its cheaper and cleaner.
