Rockscape using plastic pallets/crates...

I'm looking to rescape my tank. I've seen someone on here that formed rocks by attaching them to crates. I can't find that person tho. My work has plastic pallets and I'm thinking of cutting them up and attaching live rocks to them to form a nice rockscape. Of course you wouldn't see the pallets. Please chime in if you've don't this. Thx
 
Depends on the type of plastic that is. Egg crate, which is commercial lighting cover, is used pretty often in our tanks. I have also seen plastic dowel rods used to secure aquascapes in place.
 
No I was going to cut it and shape it to where it'll stand up freely. I'll probably do what X has done with the rods.
