I woke up this morning and our royal gramma has got ich. We moved him over to a 10 gallon qt. We've currently have two true percs qt in there. I gave hime a quick fw bath and I was wondering if I could go with formulin or copper based meds without hurting the clowns?

You could, but hyposalinity is a very good treatment and tolerated well by all fish.
Since they are all together, it should be assumed that they all have ich and need treatment anyway.
any more fish in the main? The main system need to be fishless for 6 weeks to allow the parasite to go through their life cycle and die off now.
Here is an article on hyposalinity.

Yes, all three fish are in the same qt, but they were never together before hand. The clowns have been in qt for a while, just for standard new fish qt.

Ok, then you are fishless in the main then,,cool. Invert are OK, just leave them in there.
Got with the hypo IMO.
